First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Business Development Account Manager on behalf of one of our clients. This role focuses on the acquisition of new business and the re-engagement of lapsed clients. The successful candidate will play a key part in growing revenue and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drive new business development and re-engage lapsed accounts
2. Achieve monthly sales targets and meet performance KPIs
3. Present and position services to prospects and existing customers
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term retention
5. Understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly
6. Collaborate with marketing to maximise outreach and lead generation
7. Maintain accurate CRM records and update sales systems
8. Prepare accurate customer quotes and apply pricing models correctly
9. Produce and execute a business plan to support new business objectives
10. Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and best practices
Skills and Qualifications:
11. Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. Strong initiative and ability to work independently
14. Reliable, well-organised, and professional in all aspects
15. Resilient and empathetic approach to sales
16. Smart appearance and a positive attitude
17. Competent in using CRM systems and business software

18. 5+ years’ experience in a similar B2B role
19. Strong process compliance and attention to detail
