Key Responsibilities: Product Development & Governance Lead the design and refinement of underwriting footprints across product suite. Own and update policy wordings, IPIDs, underwriting guides, and endorsement libraries. Conduct competitor analysis to maintain market relevance and pricing competitiveness Portfolio Management Monitor performance of delegated authority schemes and binders. Collaborate with actuarial and pricing teams to ensure technical adequacy. Identify emerging risks and recommend underwriting adjustments. Assisting the Technical Manager with projects as required. Maintain CPD (Continuing Professional Development) on an ongoing basis as applicable for role. Be an effective, willing and enthusiastic team player Candidate Profile: Experience : Underwriting in the non standard home and/or motor market of a minimum of 5 years. Qualifications : Cert CII or higher desirable. Skills : Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. Excellent written communication for policy documentation and technical referrals. Proven ability to manage multiple product lines and mentor others. Desirable Attributes: Experience with delegated authority schemes and binder oversight. Familiarity with FCA compliance and product governance. Commercial awareness and ability to influence underwriting strategy.
