SEN LSA – Rochester

Contract: Full time, ASAP start
Salary: £95-£105 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs (including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties).
* Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and create inclusive learning experiences.
* Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour in the classroom.
* Assist with classroom activities, resources, and tailored learning plans.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure consistent support.
* Bring energy, patience, and creativity to every day—you’ll be a role model and motivator!
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience working with children or young people (school, nursery, youth work, or similar).
* A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology, or SEN training) are desirable but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
