Practice Supervisor Social Worker (Full-Time) Home First City Team - OX30SWNumber of Positions: 1Contract Type: PermanentSalary: £50269 - £53460Working Hours: 37Location: OxfordshireBusiness Unit: Adult Social CareAbout UsThe Home First Neighbourhood City Team is part of the Home First service in Oxfordshire County Council Adult Social Care. The Home First service has revolutionised the way OCC supports people with lived experience of hospital admission return home to receive the right level of care in the right environment at the right time. We are a highly-collaborative reablement service that works in close partnership with Oxfordshire's NHS health trusts and many other partner agencies. About the RoleThe Practice Supervisor Social Worker in the Home First Neighbourhood City Team will work as part of a leadership team with three other practice supervisors and the team manager. The PSSW will be responsible for line managing frontline workers (SW, OT, or Coordinators) in the team. The PS team is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day service objectives of the team are met according to service design, timescales, and relevant legislation. The role requires flexible working with some days working in the John Radcliffe hospital office on a rota-basis (usually 1-2 days in the office per week). Our service is busy, but our people are friendly and committed to doing great things. This permanent post is a good opportunity for an experienced frontline SW to step up into a supervisory role. It is also a chance for an existing PSSW to see what a reablement service is all about. The PSSW will also receive an additional 5% pay enhancement as compensation for working on-call on a 7-day working rota.
