Job Description
As Commercial Finance Manager this role will incorporate the following:· Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making across the business, partnering closely with Finance and Sales teams.· Conduct detailed profitability, cost, and variance analysis to highlight performance trends and identify improvement opportunities.· Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, alignment with business objectives, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.· Review job costing data, identify variances, and support cost optimisation initiatives with operational teams.· Develop and maintain advanced, scenario‑based financial models to support investment decisions and long‑term planning.· Prepare and present clear financial reports and dashboards, offering actionable insights for senior leadership.· Support the month‑end close process through analytical reviews and variance explanations.· Define, track, and report key financial KPIs to monitor business performance.· Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and tools, leveraging best practices and automation.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:- Strong analytical ability along with Power BI and Advanced Excel skills- High attention to detail- Strong communication and business partnering skills- Robust, confident and able to challenge stakeholders constructively- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience with extensive experience in Commercial Finance and Analytical rolesThis role is office based for 5 days per week in Tunbridge Wells. You MUST be willing to commute so please only apply if this location is do-able for you for 5 days.This is a maternity cover role for 12 months and you must be available to start this role between the beginning and the middle of March.
