Small Animal Vet – Independent Practice
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our established independent practice in the heart of Northamptonshire. We are looking to add a confident vet to our small animal team.
We are a 1st opinion, well equipped modern practice with a good reputation in the local area. You will be welcomed into our fantastic friendly team which consists of 8 Veterinary Surgeons and 15 very experienced, qualified nurses.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and also within a 50 minute train ride to London and Birmingham.
Case continuity is extremely important with vets encouraged to work up cases to a high standard. Clinical freedom is encouraged as is sharing knowledge and expertise, whilst being supported by experienced colleagues with a variety of interests.
Salary is very competitive and dependant on experience but includes:
- RCVS, BVA, VDS Membership
- Paid CPD / Certificate training,
- Pension contributions
- Regular team days out
- Career progression opportunities.
There is no OOH work but any patients requiring hospitalisation will be looked after by a dedicated night nurse.
- 4 ½ day week with 1 in 8 weekend rota with time off in lieu.
- Up to 20 minute consultations
