About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planner with experience working on a Wind Farm to join our team for an exciting 12-month contract. This position is outside IR35, providing you with the flexibility and autonomy to apply your expertise to a significant renewable energy initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Coordinate planning activities and ensure alignment with project milestones and objectives.
* Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
* Work closely with the project management team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* Prepare regular status reports and updates for stakeholders.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with various teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Planner on an offshore wind farm project.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
* Previous experience working for the developer on a wind farm project or a major package within a wind farm project.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of offshore wind farm construction processes and challenges.
* Experience in risk management and mitigation within large-scale projects.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
