To support our continued site expansion, we currently have an opportunity within the R&D team for a Scientist to join us. This team provides product R&D support for test equipment qualification, test method development, and material characterisation. This position is at the heart of the UK R&D team and your input will be instrumental in the introduction, characterisation and qualification of test equipment, test methods, and materials associated with sensor development projects. This role will also require you to provide support for on-market products, such as supplier changes, as required.
Responsibilities
* Provide product R&D support for test equipment qualification, test method development, and material characterisation/qualification/validation.
* Contribute to the introduction, characterisation and qualification of test equipment, test methods and materials for sensor development projects.
* Support on-market products, including supplier changes, as required.
Qualifications
* Degree-qualified in a scientific discipline.
* Experience in test equipment, test method and materials characterisation/qualification/validation is preferred.
* Proactive, able to take initiative, and able to work within a team.
* Strong communication, analytical and time management skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Willingness to collaborate with R&D, quality, operations and engineering functions.
