This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-scaling social enterprise at the forefront of sustainable retrofit, for an up-and-coming or mid-level construction or retrofit professional to take the next step into a project leadership role with real meaning and purpose.
As Retrofit Project Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering large-scale domestic retrofit and housing projects across Wales and the North West. From early procurement through to sign-off, you’ll work closely with technical teams, clients, and residents to ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and with maximum social value.
You’ll join a supportive PMO environment and work alongside Retrofit Assessors, Coordinators, and Advisors to deliver projects to PAS 2035 standards. Continuous learning, professional development, and mentorship are central to the role—so whether you're newly qualified or ready to step up, you'll be supported every step of the way.
Day to day:
Manage retrofit projects across procurement, installation, and sign-off stages
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth coordination
Monitor quality, safety, performance, and timelines across concurrent projects
Engage with residents, clients, and stakeholders with a customer-first mindset
Support compliance with PAS 2035 and other relevant standards
Review designs, submit materials requests, and maintain all project documentation
Contribute to post-project case studies, evaluations, and reporting Ideal skill set
A positive, proactive and self-motivated mindset
12 - 24 + months experience in construction, retrofit or housing project delivery
Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards
Project management skills (PRINCE2 or similar preferred)
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and funding streams
Competency in MS Office and digital reporting tools
Willingness to travel to sites and client locations regularly
Construction-related degree, NVQ or RICS progress
Familiarity with PAS 2035, TrustMark, and social housing frameworks
