Job Role: Fleet Coordinator in Lisburn Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Coordinator to join their growing team operating across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles and plant remain fully compliant, roadworthy, and operational in accordance with Northern Ireland transport legislation and company procedures and will be responsible for a fleet consisting of: 15+ Trucks 15+ Vans 20+ Items of Plant Equipment Key Responsibilities Managing fleet compliance documentation and renewal schedules including: - Vehicle Tax - Insurance - PSV / DOE requirements - MOT bookings - Thorough Examination Certificates - LOLER / PUWER records - Tachograph and O Licence related records - Service and inspection documentation Monitoring daily vehicle and plant inspections through a tracking /prestart application Scheduling preventative maintenance and defect repairs Liaising closely with mechanics, workshop staff, and management to ensure fleet uptime Maintaining accurate digital maintenance and compliance records Coordinating servicing, inspections, breakdowns, and repairs Ensuring all drivers complete daily walkaround checks correctly Assisting with audits and compliance inspections Monitoring fuel usage, fleet performance Planning and coordinating daily low loader plant movements and overseeing 8-wheelerlogistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery of equipment and materials.
