About the Role
Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Controller to join our manufacturing team in Belfast. Responsible for translating production plans into schedules, ensuring seamless execution, and driving operational excellence through collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Execution
* Translate the Master Production Schedule into detailed daily/weekly schedules.
* Manage work orders and authorize manufacturing activities.
* Adjust priorities based on material availability and resource constraints.
Monitoring & Performance Control
* Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure schedule alignment.
* Analyze KPIs related to production and delivery.
* Monitor resource availability to support production continuity.
Problem Solving & Recovery
* Investigate delays, implement corrective actions.
* Develop recovery plans with relevant departments.
* Coordinate rework or repair activities as needed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Lead or participate in daily production meetings.
* Collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
* Ensure planning tools reflect real-time status.
Logistics & Material Flow Responsibilities
* Oversee inbound logistics and customs processing.
* Manage internal logistics and ensure just-in-time delivery.
* Coordinate outbound logistics for finished goods.
* Monitor inventory levels and resolve discrepancies.
* Plan transport routes and ensure compliance.
* Support warehouse optimization and explore automation.
Master Data Management (MDM) Support
* Maintain master data records.
* Support urgent data requests.
* Participate in data quality initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
