This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. An exciting opportunity has arisen within Midlothian HSCP (Health and Social Care Partnership) Vaccination Team for a motivated and flexible Band 6 Deputy Team Manager.
Midlothian Vaccination service is responsible for providing a wide range of vaccinations to Midlothian residents. In addition to larger FLU and COVID campaigns we administer over 20 vaccines, to a wide age group, across multiple clinics.
The Deputy Team Manager is responsible for triaging vaccination referrals, providing support to the Team Manager, and wider staff team. The post holder would be responsible for providing specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives. The post holder has specific responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical and staff governance.
Supporting the development of the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines and policies relating to vaccination delivery.
This is a permanent post working 37 hours per week but part-time hours would be considered.
