Are you passionate about supporting students through complex and sensitive circumstances? We’re looking for a skilled and committed professional to join our team and coordinate high-quality student casework services within the Academic Continuation Team.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our student experience. You’ll lead or support investigations for a portfolio of student casework including academic appeals, applicant complaints, extenuating circumstances, academic misconduct, and student change of circumstances. You’ll provide expert advice to students, staff, and panels, and contribute to service improvement, training, and policy development.

What you will be doing:
1. Providing operational leadership and oversight of a defined portfolio of student casework, including academic misconduct, appeals, extenuating circumstances, applicant complaints and appeals, and student change of circumstances.
2. Investigating and resolving complex student cases, advising casework panels and hearings, and ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
3. Supporting the Casework Manager in reviewing and enhancing the student casework service, and deputising as required.
Qualifications/ experience:
4. Level 5 qualification, such as Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE), Foundation Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification or experience
5. Experience of working with complex casework and comprehensive knowledge of good practice, ideally within Higher Education.
6. Ability to interpret, apply and explain complex regulations to a wide variety of audiences.
