Purpose of the job: To work in KS2 under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement learning activities with individuals/groups of children, in or out of the classroom. To support high quality teaching and learning through involvement in planning, preparation and assessment. To provide cover supervision as and when required. To provide supervision on the school playground during unstructured times. The scope to work solely with SEND pupils will be an option for a suitable candidate, to be discussed at interview. Essentially, you will: Have at least NVQ Level 3 in teaching assistance or equivalent. Have good, personal literacy/numeracy skills (GCSE English and mathematics or equivalent).
