Management Accountant
Glasgow (Fully Office-Based)
Salary up to £40k (DOE) + Study Support
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing finance team within a successful engineering and manufacturing business for the post of ‘Management Accountant’. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller with a variety of month-end and reporting responsibilities across group and subsidiary companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for group and subsidiary companies
* Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow maintenance
* VAT returns and fixed asset register management
* Cost, margin and profitability analysis on project work
* Processing of invoices for smaller group entities
* Support in year-end audit file preparation and process improvement initiatives
About You:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management accounting role
* Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
* Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
* Ideally part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), though QBE candidates will be considered
