As a technician, you should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instructions. Knowledge of electronic basics are key. Integration of components and PCBs in manufacturing along with wiring assembly and the ability to read assembly drawings.
Accountabilities:
1.Carry out the wiring, on electronic assemblies, using, predetermined programs and works orders, detailed work instructions or drawings to the required company standard and/or programme standards. Work must be completed to an acceptable quality level, as defined by these standards, with the minimum of rejects at inspection.
2. Inspect and test completed assemblies as required
3. Cuts, strip, and terminate wires to connectors and electrical units
4. To work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision
5. Follow production drawings and sample assemblies or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
6. Be highly proficient in prototype wiring, crimping and soldering
7. Assist the production team as required on all build projects
9. Working alongside the team and any issues and improvements
10. Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and routes to the support teams (Quality,Manufacturing Engineering)
