Training Partner: Manufacturing
Location: Buckinghamshire / Middlesex
Salary: Up to GBP 43,500
Contract: Full Time Permanent Onsite
A leading UK engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Training Partner to join its manufacturing division and play a key role in developing the skills, capability, and performance of colleagues across multiple technical teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about training, development, and competency building within a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
The Role
As the Training Partner, you will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programmes for a variety of manufacturing functions. Your work will directly support operational leaders and contribute to a robust internal managementsystem.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Designing, developing, and delivering technical and non-technical training.
* Creating development pathways and identifying appropriate external/internal training options.
* Developing assessment tools to certify skills and ensure competence levels.
* Maintaining accurate training data, records, and skills matrices.
* Uploading and managing course content on the Learning Management System (LMS).
* Collaborating closely with team leaders to understand critical skill requirements.
About You
You will be a hands-on, proactive Training or Learning and Development professional with experience in a manufacturing environment. You should have:
* Experience with training ideally in engineering, technical, automotive, aerospace, defence, or similar environments.
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience developing training materials and assessment tools.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
* A collaborative, organised, and detail-driven approach.
Qualifications
* Aligned Experience / Relevant Experience
* Level 4 (HNC) or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* A Train-the-Trainer qualification is beneficial but not essential.
