Qualifications & Experience
* HNC or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven experience commissioning low-voltage equipment in a regulated or high-tech industry
* Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful commissioning of advanced bioprocessing equipment. Your duties will include:
* Testing electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of sub-assemblies and products
* Performing electrical safety tests and completing online documentation
* Checking calibrated equipment and maintaining accurate records
* Following work instructions and acceptance test documents to meet timelines
* Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency
Skills / Technical Competencies
* Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes
* Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles (advantageous)
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Haves
* Experience in a precision assembly environment
* Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
* Willingness to travel occasionally for work
