Sports analyst job description

As a Sports Analyst, your fundamental role is to scrutinise, interpret and present sports data. Your expertise in quantitative analysis and your passion for sports will blend together to provide insightful reports to augment a team's performance. You'll use statistical techniques to draw out trends and patterns in data, which can then be used to make decisions that could improve performance, reduce injury or optimise tactics. You'll work closely with coaches and support staff, providing them with detailed reports and presentations to influence strategic decisions. The role requires a high level of proficiency in data analysis tools and excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data in a meaningful way.
