Sports teacher job description

A Sports Teacher, also known as a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, is a professional responsible for instructing students in various athletic activities, promoting the importance of physical fitness, and fostering students' skills in team sports. They plan and deliver lessons aligned with the school's curriculum, ensuring each student's safety during activities. Beyond teaching the technical aspects of sports, they also foster team spirit, fair play, and good sportsmanship. Sports Teachers may also organise sports events and competitions, liaise with parents on their child's progress, and keep up-to-date records of students' development. Essential skills include exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational abilities.
