Responsibilities
* Full scope of HR duties and responsibilities (operational and strategic level) – talent management, organisation design/succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and training & development
* Work in conjunction with HQ HR to drive the European business unit
* Plan and execute effective recruitment campaigns and successfully onboard new team members
* Undertaking HR administrative tasks (including, but not limited to – payroll, employment agreements and benefit administration); in parallel with HR strategic/higher level operational planning
* Write HR policies and procedures in line with local labour law
* Keep up to date/advanced knowledge of local labour law
Job Requirement:
* At least 5 years working experience.
* Experience of working as the sole HR manager
* People focused and a can-do mind set
* Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and adapt/plan accordingly
* Strong knowledge of local labour law
* Experience of working with multi-region employees beneficial – particularly other European countries and local labour law
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.
* Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside the strategic tasks that this role will dictate.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous line management experience is desirable
