About the School
The Governors of Rice Lane Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Site Manager to join our friendly and supportive school team. We are a happy, nurturing and ambitious 3 form entry primary school and nursery. We have 660 children on roll and we have 2 SEND enhanced provisions within our school. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety, and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of children and young people in our care. About the Role
The Site Manager is responsible for the safety, security and cleanliness of the school premises, checking cleanliness and tidiness, looking for damage and items needing repair. Actioning minor repairs to school grounds and buildings. Ensuring the site and grounds are safe for students, visitors and staff.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for teachers who have:
* Has previous experience of Site Management/Building Management
* Is able to repair basic items using machinery, ie drills, grinders, pressure washers or floor polishers
* Has the ability to communicate with outside agencies either verbally or written
* Understands the requirement of storing cleaning items (COSHH)
* Can work unsupervised and has the ability to prioritise their own workload
