The Role
As Quality Assurance Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring that we satisfy the requirements of our customers with the correct quality product, on time and in full, every time.
You'll ensure that, through effective procedures, monitoring and coaching that the site and staff comply with our legal food safety and quality obligations as defined by the BRC Global standard.
You'll be an integral member of the Site Management Team and will report into the site Technical Manager. You'll oversee the growth and development of the team as well as the development of a strong Quality Assurance culture.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
* Manage, maintain, and implement the food safety management system in line with the requirements of BRC.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement through effective data collection monitoring trending and reporting of site quality KPI’s.
* Engage with personnel of all levels on site to measure compliance to standards, evaluate methods and share best practice.
* Monitoring all Retailer Codes of Practice requirements and effectively communicating these throughout the business.
* Interpretation of these requirements into the MBL Food Safety and Quality Standard
* Support site in preparation and during external site audits/visits, as required.
