Job Description
* Oversee all compliance, risk and safety matters within the Estates team.
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure the highest level of safety across the estate.
* Conduct risk assessments and audits as required.
* Advise on compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
* Lead the team in the implementation of safety regulations and procedures.
* Manage the reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses.
* Provide training and support to staff in relation to compliance, risk, and safety.
* Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Estates - Compliance, Risk & Safety should have:
* An academic qualification in Health and Safety or a related field.
* A qualification in the field of fire safety
* Experience in managing compliance, risk and safety within a large organization.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
