Our client in Middleton is currently recruiting for an HR Officer to join them on a permanent basis.
As HR Officer, you will report into the Group HR Manager and form part of the wider HR Team. You will have a passion for HR and enjoy getting on to the factory floor and understanding the operation from the ground up.
Some Key Duties Include:
* Proactively manage sickness absence through effective case management and contribute to strategies to reduce sickness absence.
* Manage allocated recruitment from vacancy approval to issuing of employment contracts.
* Support managers with ER issues and in the delivery of the performance management cycle.
* Assist in the annual performance review and succession planning process.
* Participate in developing organisational guidelines and procedures.
* Provide expert employment law advice and effective employee relation support
* Provide basic HR analytics and management information as required
* Support local HR related projects and participate in cross functional activities.
A solid HR generalist and a true problem solver, you will seek improvements where needed and enjoy owning a process from start to end.
