The Role
We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join our Waste Management team. You will focus on securing new business across our full waste services portfolio, including skip hire, RoRo containers, grab hire, man & van clearances, and event waste management. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for building lasting client relationships and delivering tailored solutions to both commercial and public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secure new business across skip hire, RoRo, grab hire, man & van, and event waste services.
* Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline through field visits, networking, and inbound leads.
* Conduct site visits and waste audits to develop tailored service proposals.
* Prepare and present professional quotes, tenders, and commercial bids.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients across commercial and public sectors.
* Represent MJ Church at industry events to promote services and grow the client base.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs, providing regular performance updates.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and support cross-selling.
Who You Are
You are a confident and motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of customer needs and a flair for delivering practical, cost-effective solutions. You’re equally comfortable in a site cabin, client boardroom, or event field. A natural communicator with strong commercial awareness, you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Skills:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent time-management and organisational ability
* Commercially aware with an understanding of cost and margin dynamics
