SSP America operates multiple restaurants in the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester Airport. Our Line Cooks play a vital role in receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for guests, and setting up the kitchen efficiently to ensure all tools and products are accessible during their shift.

Responsibilities as a Line Cook
* Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes.
* Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily.
* Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
* Manage stock, and perform cutting and storage of perishables daily to ensure quality.
* Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
* Ensure the quality of all products served.
* Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards.
Skills and Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a food service environment.
* High school diploma preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic mathematical skills.
* Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
