Site Manager in the Kier/Graham Joint Venture team responsible for delivering capital works projects for the MOD at Faslane Naval Base.
Location & Hours
Faslane Naval Base.
42.5 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours available if desired.
Job Role
As a Site Manager, you will support the capital works team in delivering essential construction projects for the MOD.
Responsibilities
* Ensure safe delivery of construction activities on site under stringent safety conditions.
* Oversee and direct subcontractor partners to deliver work packages including groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding and interior fit-out.
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure working methods are safe and appropriate.
* Coordinate site logistics and movement of plant and labour whilst maintaining safety standards.
* Create, log and file site reports accurately using Procore and SnapMaster.
Qualifications & Experience
* Management experience from a similar role within the UK construction industry.
* Experience in main contracting on large-scale commercial builds ranging from £10M to £100M.
* Relevant Construction Management qualification (HND, Degree or SVQ).
* SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card and First Aid certification.
* Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors and project teams.
