We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team, supporting the delivery of projects in and around Cambridge. This is a senior role on site, responsible for leading site operations, driving performance and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
You will play a key role in managing teams, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project leadership to achieve successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading day‑to‑day site operations to ensure safe, efficient and well‑coordinated delivery
* Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
* Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met and promoted
* Driving quality on site and ensuring works meet project specifications
* Supporting programme delivery, identifying and resolving issues proactively
* Working closely with project, commercial and design teams to maintain alignment
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to a positive site culture
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or experienced Site Manager ready to step up) within construction
* Strong understanding of site management, health & safety and quality standards
* Experience delivering medium to large construction projects
* Confident leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive performance
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
