About the Role
Grade A Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful mainstream secondary school in Peterborough to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate students while delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that inspire a love of learning.
2. Support students in developing both practical and theoretical knowledge in food preparation and nutrition.
3. Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring strong progress and excellent outcomes.
4. Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity and resilience.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive and successful department.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
7. Have experience teaching Food Technology across KS3–KS4.
8. Hold relevant Food Safety and Hygiene certificates.
9. Be passionate about teaching and able to deliver innovative, practical lessons.
10. Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
11. Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
