We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to deliver an engaging and practical curriculum.

Job Title: Teacher of Food Technology

Location: Ash Green School, Coventry

Salary: MPS £32, - UPS £51,

Start Date: September

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time, 32.50 hours

About You:

Ash Green School are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to inspire students and deliver an engaging, practical curriculum.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)

2. Degree or equivalent in food technology or relevant subject.

3. Experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment.

4. Successful teaching experience in the Secondary phase.

5. Have knowledge of the food/nutrition curriculum requirements of key stage 3 and 4 and experience of writing lesson plans, developmental resources and assessment of students work Passionate about your subject area.

About the Food Technology Department:

The Food Technology department provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students can develop practical cooking skills alongside an understanding of nutrition and wellbeing. We aim to inspire a lifelong appreciation of food, helping students make informed and healthy choices.
