Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Calypso Developer to support a strategic transformation programme aimed at establishing Calypso as the single book of record for all OTC Derivative trades within our Securities Services business. This role will be instrumental in expanding Calypso coverage, automating trade capture, lifecycle events, and pricing for a wide range of products and clients. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: •Develop and configure Calypso to support new OTC derivative products including: oCDS (Options) oPerformance Swaps – Market Index oCDS Index Tranche •Automate trade capture and lifecycle event processing for ~9 clients currently using manual input. •Implement automated pricing solutions for ~11 clients currently priced manually. •Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. •Ensure data completeness, consistency, and scalability across Calypso modules. •Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews. •Troubleshoot and resolve Calypso-related issues across environments. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience: •Proven experience as a Calypso Developer (ideally 3+ years). •Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives and trade lifecycle management. •Hands-on experience with Calypso configuration, Java, and Calypso APIs. •Familiarity with Securities Services, Middle Office operations, and trade capture systems. •Experience with automation and integration of pricing engines. •Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. •Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
