We are looking for a driven and experienced Sea Freight Sales Executive to join a leading Freight Forwarding business based in Liverpool. This role will focus on securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of the sea freight division.
The Candidate:
* Proven background in sea freight sales within the freight forwarding industry.
* Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong ability to identify and win new business opportunities.
* Excellent relationship-building and client management skills.
* Comfortable using CRM systems and applying advanced sales techniques.
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and time management skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow sea freight business.
* Proactively seek out and engage new customers through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
* Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline with regular prospecting activity.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and stay competitive.
* Prepare competitive quotations and proposals using cost calculation methods.
* Work closely with operational teams to ensure service excellence for clients.
* Build internal relationships to align efforts with wider business goals.
* Produce regular reports on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
* Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify areas for growth.
