As a Sales Executive, you’ll focus on building new business opportunities and growing revenue across our portfolio of hotels. You’ll identify and secure local corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) business, strengthen relationships with key clients, and showcase our hotels as the preferred choice for business and leisure needs. Reporting to the Group Director of Sales, you’ll balance proactive sales activity with relationship management, ensuring hotels meet and exceed their targets. As Sales Executive, you’ll reflect these values by building strong connections, representing Brightstar in the marketplace, and contributing directly to commercial success. Objectives of this role: Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to drive new business. Identify, qualify, and secure local corporate and MICE opportunities. Build and maintain strong client relationships that deliver repeat revenue. Increase hotel visibility in the marketplace through networking and partnerships. Provide accurate reporting, insights, and recommendations to support growth. Key Responsibilities People Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers. Act as the main point of contact for corporate and MICE clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service. Work closely with Sales Office Manager, revenue teams, and the Hotel Sales Manager to align efforts with hotel objectives. Attend networking events, industry forums, and trade shows to expand contacts and represent Brightstar professionally. Share knowledge and updates with colleagues to ensure consistency in client engagement. Live Brightstar’s values in every interaction, representing the brand with integrity and professionalism. Quality Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities in the local market. Plan and deliver sales presentations and site visits to showcase hotel facilities. Develop compelling proposals that match client needs with hotel services. Ensure all client information and sales activity are accurately recorded in CRM systems. Monitor service delivery with operational teams to ensure client expectations are consistently met. Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and changes in client demand. Profit Deliver against individual and portfolio revenue targets through proactive sales. Build and manage a pipeline of potential accounts to drive sustainable growth. Support pricing and revenue strategies by feeding market intelligence to the revenue team. Identify upsell opportunities for accommodation, F&B, events, and packages. Provide regular sales reports, highlighting results, progress against targets, and areas for opportunity. Contribute to group-wide sales initiatives and promotions to maximise return on investment. Responsible Business Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and data protection regulations. Represent Brightstar responsibly at all external events and client meetings. Promote ethical business practices in all client interactions. Support sustainable sales practices, building partnerships that align with Brightstar’s values. Treat clients, partners, and colleagues with fairness and respect. Complete all E-learning and mandatory training within required timeframes. Skills and Qualifications Previous experience in hotel sales or a similar business development role. Strong knowledge of corporate and MICE business markets. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills. Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify profitable opportunities. Confident in presenting to clients, partners, and decision-makers. Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and hotel booking platforms. Highly organised, proactive, and target-driven. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Willing to travel to hotels, clients, and events as required.
