Our client, who is based in Battersea, is seeking a reliable and experienced Live-out Cook / Housekeeper to support their household. The role involves preparing healthy, nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and organised home, caring for two dogs, and managing laundry and ironing
Duties to include:
Cooking & Kitchen Duties
1. Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for the household
2. Batch cooking for the week for Lunches and Dinners
3. Plan simple menus, and assist with grocery lists when required
4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
5. Proper food storage and basic stock management
Housekeeping
6. General daily cleaning and tidying of the home
7. Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and bathroom cleaning
8. Ensuring the home is kept to a high standard of cleanliness
Laundry & Ironing
9. Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothing and household linens
10. Organising wardrobes and linen cupboards
Pet Care
11. Daily care of two dogs
12. Walking dogs in the morning and the afternoon
13. Keeping pet areas clean and tidy
14. Basic monitoring of pets’ wellbeing, and alerting owners to any concerns
Requirements:
15. Previous experience in a similar household role preferred
16. Confident cook with knowledge of home-style, healthy meals
17. Comfortable and experienced with dogs
18. Good attention to detail and time management
19. Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable
20. Able to work independently
Working Hours: Approximately 30 hours a week with flexibility
Working Days: Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Salary: £20 - £25 gph
