Job Description
The posts are fixed term until 31/03/.
The posts are term-time, part time and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational requirements of the kitchen. Duties will include the supervision of staff, food preparation and service of food in compliance with the Nutritional requirements for Food and Drinks in schools (Scotland) regulations, and other relevant legislation as required. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is cleaned, checked and maintained, all Health and Safety guidelines are followed, all relevant paper work is completed and recorded, and the collection and reconciliation of West Dunbartonshire Council Catering income.
The post holder requires to hold REHIS Food & Nutrition and REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificates. They will adhere to Food Safety Systems, Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety legislation. A knowledge of such legislations would be an advantage, as would holding City & Guilds /1&2 or equivalent qualification.
