Traditional-Build Housing | Established Local Developer | Community-Focused Deliveries
My client, a well-established Lincolnshire housebuilder with decades of experience delivering thoughtfully built homes, is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on the Woodhall Spa development at Gleneagles Drive.
With a mix of 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom homes designed for modern living, this development combines community-oriented design and craftsmanship — offering an attractive setting for a Site Manager who values quality, standards, and place-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Full site management: oversee the delivery of traditional-build homes from groundwork through to handover
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on-site teams, ensuring programme targets are met
• Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across the site
• Maintain rigorous quality control, ensuring all works meet specification and company standards
• Manage labour, materials, plant, and site logistics to support smooth and efficient operations
• Produce accurate progress reports, site records, and regular updates to senior management
• Monitor budgets — controlling prelims, non-productive costs, and ensuring cost-effective delivery
• Conduct inspections and quality checks at every stage of construction
• Drive continuous improvements in build process efficiency, standards, and workmanship
• Represent the company on site with professionalism, pride, and attention to detail
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in traditional-build housing schemes
• Strong technical knowledge, organisational skills and ability to lead a site team effectively
• SMSTS or CSCS (or equivalent), First Aid, and a commitment to Health & Safety standards
• A proactive attitude toward quality, standards and continuous improvement
• Commitment to delivering high-quality homes, not just volume
What’s On Offer
• Competitive salary and benefits
• Opportunity to manage a well-regarded development in a sought-after location
• Autonomy and real responsibility with direct influence on build quality and standards
• A working environment that values craftsmanship, standards and community focus
