Sales Executive Location: Nottingham Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Office-based role About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a construction, electrical, or compliance/testing background who is ready to take their career in a sales-focused direction. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and helping drive revenue growth. You’ll work closely with the Business Development Manager and senior team to deliver sales strategies that align with business goals. This position is primarily focused on new business (80%), with the remaining 20% dedicated to developing existing client accounts. Key Responsibilities Research, identify, and contact potential clients to generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective sales campaigns and proposals. Prepare sales quotes, contracts, and performance reports. Track performance metrics and report progress to senior management. Attend relevant networking events and trade shows to support business growth. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management. Background in construction, electrical services, or compliance/testing industries. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and analytical ability with attention to detail. Confident working both independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel for client visits.
