JOB TITLE: Quality Manager
The COMPANY
Our client is a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation who have forged a profitable niche for themselves working, predominantly, within the 'Yellow Construction Industry' - diggers, FLT, dumpers, etc. They offer their clients a full engineering solution including laser cutting, press brake, tube bending, fabrication, etc.
The ROLE
Our Client are recruiting a Quality Manager, reporting directly to the board, you will be responsible for all aspects of the quality management system - Quality is integral to the ethos of the organisation. The role will involve;
* Assume responsibility for everything quality
* Manage quality team
* Main liaison between Client and customers on quality & compliance
* Analyse and review customer performance
* Lead on the development & enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001
* Oversee audits both internal and external
* Visit customer sites for meetings and reviews
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Quality Manager possessing the ambition to forge a career within a successful expanding engineering company. You will possess the following skills;
* Quality Management experience
* Background within a Fabrication environment
* Good engineering knowledge and training
* Willingness to get involved in the 'nitty gritty' as well as strategic aspects of the job
* Excellent administration skills
