Learning Mentor (Years 7-11)
Part time, 30 hours per week term time plus 5 days (37.2 working weeks). Salary: Grade 4 (£19,430 - £21,783, actual salary) depending on experience. Position starts as soon as possible.
Role Overview
We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and creative Learning Mentor to support pupils and help Heads of Year ensure the emotional wellbeing of our students at The Belvedere Academy, Liverpool.
Responsibilities
* Support individual pupils across Years 7-11 creatively and enthusiastically.
* Organise and run group activities that foster a safe, relaxed and thriving environment.
* Assist Heads of Year in monitoring and promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing.
* Contribute to the academy’s relational pastoral care and high expectations for all students.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in a similar role within a school or educational setting.
* Solution-focused, flexible, empathetic, and innovative approach to teaching and pastoral work.
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils.
* Willingness to undertake child protection checks, online searches, and relevant safeguarding processes.
