Job Title: Site Manager – Office Fit-Out

Rate: £290 per day
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee a commercial office fit-out project located in Sheffield City Centre. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisation, and compliance with health and safety standards. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day operations on site to ensure the project runs on time and to budget.
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
* Overseeing quality control, site safety, and adherence to specifications.
* Conducting site inductions and ensuring all workers are briefed on safety protocols.
* Monitoring progress and reporting to the project manager/client.
* Resolving on-site issues and maintaining clear communication across all teams.
* Enforcing fire safety, first aid, and emergency procedures in line with regulations.
* Completing and maintaining site paperwork, RAMS, and daily diaries.
Requirements:
* Black CSCS Card (essential).
* SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme – essential).
* First Aid at Work qualification (essential).
* Fire Marshal certification (essential).
* Proven experience managing commercial fit-out projects, preferably office environments.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and multi-trade teams effectively.
