Job Description
As the HR Manager you will be the first point of contact for the business, supporting the full employee life-cycle. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and strong generalist HR experience. This is a hands-on, varied role requiring a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused individual. Your key responsibilities will include:
3. Partnering with leaders across the site, providing advice, support and guidance on a range of people related matters.
4. Communicates and consult on all areas of HR including compensation, benefits, recruitment, organisational development, employee relations, and performance management in alignment with processes.
5. Managing ER, handling complex issues in areas such as performance management, conduct, absenteeism, disciplinary procedures, and grievances.
6. Coaching line leaders on HR and people related matters to improve management capability within the business.
7. A strong understanding in Payroll with previous strong background in processing Time sheets via outsource payroll service
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager will:-
8. Ideally be CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified or equivalent
9. Have experience of working in an autonomous HR Manager role
10. Understanding of current UK employment legislation
11. Experience of working within Manufacturing/FMCG
12. Ideally have previous experience of working in a unionised environment
13. Good stakeholder management skills
14. A strong understanding of overseeing Payroll via outsource payroll service
What's on Offer
Salary c£45k - £55k (dependant on experience) + Benefits This is a full time, permanent, site based role (near Ebbw Vale) 37 hours per week, with a 12pm finish on Fridays!
