Export Sales Executive: Europe and USA
Location: West Midlands (Office-based)
Contract: Permanent Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Salary: GBP 32,000 - GBP 35,000 per annum
Commission: Generous quarterly commission
About The Company
This is a GBP 20m+ turnover UK manufacturer of precision engineered parts, supplying industries such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Power Generation, and Renewables. The company has experienced rapid growth over the last 18 months and is expanding internationally, especially across Europe and America.
You will join a highly experienced team with sector expertise, offering opportunities to learn and grow within a fast-paced, globally-minded environment.
The Role
This newly created Export Sales Executive role involves managing a portfolio of active European accounts and generating revenue from day one, while also spearheading business development in the USA. With groundwork already laid through market mapping, visits, and ongoing business, your goal is to accelerate revenue growth and close new deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management (20%): Handle inbound enquiries, provide quotes, and track orders via internal systems.
2. New Business Development (80%): Focus on the US market through outbound prospecting, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns. Re-engage dormant contacts and follow up on previous quotes. Travel to the USA 1-2 times per year for meetings and business development.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team, liaise with production to ensure order fulfillment, and support marketing initiatives and sales strategies.

Nice-to-Haves
* Previous experience selling into the USA.
* Familiarity with technical documentation (e.g., API/3.1 material certifications).
* Existing network or contacts in relevant US markets.
