Human Resources Officer x 3 : Various Locations Location: Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Salary: £19.81 per hour All REED Benefits Job Type: Full-time, 6-month contract initially Hours: 37 hours per week My client is recruiting for 3 x HR Officers for various locations (please see above) for an initial period of 6 x months. These positions are crucial in providing a comprehensive, professional, high-quality Human Resource service within various departments within their organisation. If you live in the Banbridge, Armagh or Craigavon area, or close to these locations and can commit to a 6-x month initial contract, I would love to hear from you ASAP! Day-to-Day of the Role: Provide professional HR advice to line managers on employment matters including terms and conditions, policies, employment law, and best practices. Advise on and support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Support managers in HR procedural matters such as investigations, chairing meetings, and appeals. Develop and implement HR solutions to manage compliance and mitigate risks. Coordinate and manage all employee relations cases. Prepare for and represent the Council at employment tribunals as required. Lead in employee recruitment, including organising and chairing panels and advising on employment legislation. Implement and monitor the Council's Attendance Management Policy. Maintain comprehensive personnel records in compliance with legislation. Promote equality and diversity through relevant policies and monitoring. Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including trade unions. Train line managers on HR policies, procedures, and processes. Participate in joint working groups and project teams as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: CIPD level 5 in Human Resource Management or equivalent (equivalency must be clearly demonstrated). Eligible for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Minimum of two years' experience in Human Resources, including recruitment and employee relations. Knowledge of current employment legislation. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations diplomatically. Ability to work effectively at different levels within the organisation and as part of a team. Access to transport to meet the requirements of the post.
