Job Description
A local authority based in London is seeking an Employment Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Employment Lawyer will be required to carry a caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will advise on discrimination, equal pay, unfair dismissal, TUPE, employment contracts, redundancy etc. you will work within a dynamic Corporate Legal Team, all of whom are friendly, hard-working and team orientated. You must be adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritise tasks on a daily basis.

The client is seeking a Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX) with a current practising certificate. Local government experience is highly advantageous.
\n\n
Due to the urgent nature of the role, candidates must be available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
\n\n
Pay rate: £24.58 or £32.50 LTD. 35 hours per week. Hybrid working role.
