About the Role Develop and deliver engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Create a curriculum aligned with national standards that fosters a love of food, nutrition, and practical cooking skills. Ensure a safe and positive learning environment within the Food Technology facilities. Motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential, both theoretically and practically. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Food Technology department and curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings, training opportunities, and professional development activities. The Person Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a relevant subject with demonstrable experience in teaching Food Technology. A strong passion for food and a deep understanding of food science principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds. The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes creativity and problem-solving in the kitchen. A commitment to health and safety standards within the food technology setting. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
