About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operation of a busy leisure centre in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a hands‑on management role, responsible for ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the leisure centre, ensuring smooth and safe running at all times
* Manage, motivate and develop site staff, including rotas, training and performance
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding and statutory regulations
* Monitor site maintenance, cleanliness and presentation
* Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
* Manage opening and closing procedures and site security
* Support programming and delivery of activities to maximise participation and income
About You
* Proven experience in a management or supervisory role (leisure, facilities or similar environment preferred)
* Strong leadership and people‑management skills
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities
* Sound understanding of health & safety and operational compliance
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
* Relevant leisure management or facilities qualification (desirable, not essential)
