Senior People Partner – FMCG Drinks | North London (6–12 Month FTC, Immediate Start Preferred)
We are working with a leading FMCG drinks business in North London who are seeking a Senior People Partner to join them on a 6–12 month fixed-term contract. This role will provide crucial support during a period of transition within their People team and offers the opportunity to make a real impact across both operational and strategic areas.
The business needs someone confident, hands-on and experienced, who can quickly build relationships, steady the team, and drive improvements across processes, engagement, and people operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Act as the primary People Partner for two key employee groups.
* Manage ongoing employee relations matters, with two ER cases moving into the new year.
* Provide coaching and support to team members.
* Lead people operations activity, ensuring processes are effective, compliant and well-organised.
* Review, update and modernise policies and procedures to bring them in line with current legislation.
* Ensure a smooth transition alongside the People Advisors
* Support the business on engagement, DEI, mental health and culture initiatives.
* Take ownership engagement survey work, helping managers interpret results and deliver action plans.
* Run coaching sessions, workshops and capability-building activities across teams.
* Work closely with the wider People team, including talent, operations and advisory colleagues.
Who We’re Looking For
* An experienced People Partner or Senior People Advisor, ideally with a background in FMCG, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced environments.
* Strong ER experience and confidence in coaching and partnering with managers.
* Able to start in December to allow for a handover.
* Comfortable balancing hands-on operations with strategic engagement and culture work.
* A proactive communicator who can build trust quickly and positively influence stakeholders.
