Job Description
3. Administer HR processes including benefits, headcount reporting, time and attendance, HR system updates and personnel records
4. Manage onboarding, probation and exit processes
5. Collate and submit payroll changes (starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, pensions, benefits)
6. Process maternity, paternity, adoption and other family leave documentation
7. Monitor and record absence, advising managers on Occupational Health referrals where appropriate
8. Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees
9. Deliver training and support on HR systems
10. Support HR projects, programmes and business initiatives
11. Maintain document retention systems in line with company policy
12. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and current UK employment legislation
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Manager should have:
13. Proven HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
14. Strong understanding of operational HR processes and payroll collation
15. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
16. Confident advising and supporting line managers
17. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
18. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
19. Experience handling absence management and family leave processes
20. Strong HR systems capability
21. Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential information
22. Spanish language skills would be advantageous
