About the Role
As our handyman, you'll handle a variety of small to medium-sized maintenance and repair jobs for residential and commercial clients. This includes everything from painting and decorating to minor plumbing and electrical work, as well as general repairs and assembly. Your work will directly help our clients maintain their properties and keep them in great condition.
* Location: Central Scotland (e.g., Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife).
* Hours: 2 days per week to start. Additional days according to workload.
* Pay: Starting rate meets real living wage.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform a wide range of repairs, including minor carpentry, plastering, and tiling.
* Conduct basic plumbing tasks like fixing leaks or installing taps.
* Carry out simple electrical work, such as changing light fixtures.
* Assemble furniture and other household items.
* Ensure a high standard of work and excellent customer service.
* Complete job sheets using company device. Inc. customer signature
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a handyman or in a related trade.
* Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and techniques.
* A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Clean & approachable presentation
* A valid UK driver's license and your own transport are essential.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds) are a bonus.
